Humans like to debate things, most of us don’t even care what the topic is, the very fact that there is a topic is more than enough reason for us to grab it with both hands and debate the life out of it.
Remember a time when we used to debate the existence of God? That is old news!
Remember a time when we used to debate the meaning of life? Ha! That is so last week!
If, like myself, you enjoy little more than a good old fashioned debate, you will no doubt have dropped such insignificant concerns and you will be debating something much more powerful.
Who was better as The Joker, Nicholson or Ledger?

Two sides of the same coin
While it is true that I love a good debate I feel it necessary to skip past that whole process of weighing up evidence and jump straight to the only sensible conclusion. Don’t choose. You don’t have to choose. They both did an equally wonderful job with the character and, most importantly, they both played the character differently.
I’ll no doubt be attacked by hundreds of Heather Ledger fans for saying this, but is it not possible, ever so slightly, that the popular “Ledger was better than Nicholson” statement is partially influenced by the fact that the young actor died in such shocking circumstances?
Ledger was brilliant.
Nicholson was brilliant.
Both films are brilliant.
Besides, I don’t know about you guys but I once saw some footage of Nicholson attacking a vehicle with a Golf club in some sort of Golf-rage incident, do you really want to risk upsetting Jack?
While both Jokers are so very different I feel that as I do about most of JN’s films, that JN does and has for awhile ‘acted like JN’ including in Batman (1989), I also found JN’s crazy was forced, as if The Joker wanted to be seen as crazy(although that isn’t bad as many times the Joker has played up his madness in the comic books).
Heath Ledgers Joker was amazing and as you know I am a Batman fanboy, my judging of comic book films is based 100% (not 110%) on it’s relationship to the comic books, Heath Ledger being dead only crossed my mind when I had left the cinema and became irate upon remembering so, as not only does this mean no more Joker for this run of Batman films it also and far more upsettingly means NO HARLEY QUINN which is terrible puddin.
I put the question to you my friend Who played the better TWOFACE?
Good question.
Well, I haven’t seen Batman Forever in many years so it’s hard for me to make a judgement at the moment.
Tommy Lee Jones spent far more time as Two-Face than Aaron Eckhart but then again, from what I can remember, the character had a much better part written for him in The Dark Knight than in Batman Forever.
I’d have to side with Aaron Eckhart purely based on the fact that he played the role without acting camp and I much preferred that.
I couldn’t agree more on how upsetting it is to miss out on Harley Quinn. I don’t know about you but, even though The Dark Knight was quite a long film, I would have happily sat through another 30 minutes just so they could squeeze in Harley Quinn!
I would sit through every episode of ‘The young and the restless’ for even a second of Harley Quinn, Which is saying a lot as I can’t make it through an ad for THAT show.
I like both of the jokers but I think the joker n the Dark Night was better. Heath Ledger was so awesome in that movie. It was the best movie he has made in a long time! *-*
i havent seen the first batman in a long time but personaly i think jack was a better actor, ladger was great but i think jack should get the title as best
jack nkhlson joker
